Dangerous goods, checked before they move

Perfumes, batteries, fuel, aerosols and paints are dangerous goods, and they turn up in exhibits, show cars and machinery more often than shippers expect. We check the safety data sheet, confirm the classification with you, and pack, mark and document each consignment.

Perfume shipments and hidden hazards

  • Class 3 · UN 1266

    Perfume shipments

Perfumes and fragrances ship as dangerous goods: UN 1266, Class 3 flammable liquids. We check the safety data sheet, then pack, label and declare each consignment for sea or road. Send the SDS with your first booking.

  • Class 2 · Class 9

    Hidden in the exhibit

Show cars and stands carry fuel, batteries, extinguishers, aerosols and paint. A fuel-powered car ships as UN 3166, a battery-electric car as UN 3171 or UN 3556. Tell us at the exhibit-list stage, not at the terminal.
